There is a medium storm threat with wind and hail approximately 2” (golfball size) or smaller. These storms are expected to start late afternoon into the evening.

Saturday has the biggest potential for severe storms. The storms are expected to start late afternoon/early evening west of our area and will move NE at 35mph. These storms are capable of producing large hail, damaging winds, and strong long-track tornadoes. The storms will carry over into the late evening and overnight hours. 1-2 inches of rain is possible on into Sunday with the potential for localized rainfall of 2-3 inches that may cause flooding.

Sunday has a very small risk for storms. If we receive any storms, they will be regular thunderstorms with minimal threat potential.
