Hutchinson High SchoolHUTCHINSON, Kan. – Detention hearings are set tomorrow for the five teens arrested on suspicion
of making threats against Hutchinson High School. Their detention hearing will be before a judge in Reno County Juvenile Court.

Police took Tyler Cabral, Jake Eells, Takoda Bowman and Dominic Collins, all 16 and 17-year-old Andre Harris into custody Wednesday afternoon. All are in the youth detention center on suspicion of solicitation to commit first-degree murder. The five were arrested after threats appeared on Facebook Monday afternoon. The hearings are scheduled throughout the day starting tomorrow morning.

While there is a very wide-ranging opinion on the arrests of the five teens, District Attorney Keith Schroeder had a very direct view on the matter. “Make those types of comments, or threats, and you will be arrested … period, whether you think you’re joking or not.”

Schroeder could not go into any specifics in the case at this time and it is not known if the hearings will be closed to the public.
