HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Reno County law enforcement arrested a Reno County man in connect with three arson fires set early Thursday morning around Valley and Centennial Roads.
Authorities followed that up by arresting 37-year-old James Farra on seven additional charges of arson in connection to similar incidents April 4th southwest of Hutchinson. It is not known if Farra may be connected to a rash of arson fires that cut a 20 mile swath through Reno County in the past 6 weeks. All of the fires involved CRP land.
He’s being held in the Reno County Jail on a $50 thousand bond.
