HUTCHINSON, Kan. – It was another successful MCC Relief sale held over the weekend at the Kansas State Fairgrounds. According to numbers released on Tuesday the sale totaled more than $547 thousand.
That included more than $81 thousand for the auction, $181 thousand for the quilt auction and $9000 for the silent auction. The feeding of the multitude collected more than $38 thousand and the pennies collection even netted $19 thousand.
All proceeds go to the Mennonite Central Committee provide help to those in need world wide.
