HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Local firefighters responded to a structure fire early Wednesday morning at 905 Lee. When they arrived, they found smoke coming from the roof line and the residents safely in the front yard.
The fire was controlled in about 15 minutes with units on scene for about two hours for overhaul. Damage is estimated at about $20,000. No cause for the fire has been released.
The Hutchinson Fire Department responded with six units with the fire reported around 2:30 a.m.
