NEWTON, Kan. (AP) — Organizers behind a new 10-county regional economic development effort plan to host an introductory town hall meeting.
Blueprint for Regional Economic Growth event runs from 9:30 a.m. to noon on Thursday at the Meridian Center in Newton.
The initiative’s leaders include Wichita State University President John Bardo and Jeremy Hill, the director of the university’s Center for Economic Development and Business Research. They plan to introduce goals and methodology for moving forward.
