Voters in the Buhler District have passed the $10,000,000 bond issue to improve sports facilities. Here are the final totals:
“YES” 1476
“NO” 1049
Improvements will include new football turf, expanded seating at the stadium, a new track, and expanded press box. It would also fund the relocation of the current tennis courts to make more room for parking around the stadium. The bond would also fund major improvements to Wheatland Park, adding new baseball and softball fields. The new fields would move high school baseball from Prairie Hills Middle School to the city of Buhler.
