HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Hutchinson fire crews responded to a structure fire early Monday morning.
Crews responded around 2:15 a.m. to the 300 block of East Walker and found smoke coming from the attic of the home. The fire was brought under control in about 10 minutes with damage confined to the attic and kitchen area. The fire caused about $11,000 in damage.
No one was home at the time of the fire, which is believed to be electrical in nature.
