HUTCHINSON, Kan. — While the investigation into the Ineeda Cleaners fire continues, the business is already working to take care of their customers who may have had clothing that was in the store at the time of the fire. This letter was made available to hutchpost.com from the Nelson family. It lists your options for dealing with any lost or damaged clothing from the fire.
To our valued customers:
Thursday evening, December 18, we sustained major fire damage to our facility at 13th and Main in Hutchinson where most customer’s garments are cleaned and stored. The items at that facility received significant smoke damage. It is anticipated that all those items can be cleaned again and fully restored. However, we won’t know for certain what the process or the outcome will be until early next week—December 22 or 23rd. In the meantime, you need to know what your options are for the items you entrusted to our care:
Option 1—If you have an immediate need for an item and can’t wait for it to be cleaned, please fill out the claim form
attached and we will reimburse you for the value of that item or items. We will process those claims beginning Monday, December 22, 2014. If you choose to be reimbursed financially, we will consider your claim fulfilled and will donate the items that are successfully cleaned to a local non-profit.
Option 2—If you are willing to wait until your garments are cleaned and you are not satisfied with the result, we will happily refund the value of the garment(s) following the process listed above.
Option 3—If you have a unique situation that can’t be resolved by either choice above, just let us know. Our phone system was destroyed in the fire, but the numbers for both Hutchinson locations are being forwarded to Rachel’s cell phone. So just give us a call at 620-662-0529 or 620-662-9101 and we will visit about how we can satisfy your needs.
Thank you for your patience, your honesty and your support in this time. We will be posting updates on our Ineeda Cleaners Facebook page.
Sincerely,
Chris and Rachel Nelson
