The preliminary hearing for the suspect in the shooting of Hutchinson area man back on January 30, is scheduled once again for Thursday. The hearing in the case had been continued earlier when someone dropped the ball and Barbara Youngblood wasn’t transported from the Butler County Jail where she is being housed.
Youngblood is charged with attempted 1st degree murder, aggravated robbery, aggravated burglary and criminal threat. She is alleged to have shot Kevin Tinin. He phoned 911 and told of being shot and after a search by various law enforcement officers and was located in a wooded area and flown to a Wichita hospital. He was shot in the leg.
The suspect in the case was also sought during that same period of time and was eventually located near the Hutchinson Correctional Facility. She was taken to Hutchinson Regional Medical Center for treatment, then taken to the county jail.
Her bond remains at 536,500.00, and she is currently in the Reno County Jail.
