HUTCHINSON, Kan.— The Kansas Cosmosphere will hold a watch party for more than 100 high school students as the orionOrion spacecraft launches for the first time tomorrow.

The Cosmosphere will host 120 students from Trinity Catholic High School and another eight from Nickerson High School. It will start at 8:30 with the launch, which will be recorded due to the very early liftoff from Cape Canaveral. The morning will also include trivia and other activities before the students watch the live splashdown of the Orion about 10 a.m.

The Orion is the next manned spacecraft engineered by NASA to carry men to the moon and possibly Mars.
