The already publicized Arctic Invasion is set to arrive on schedule with the obviously strong cold front surging southeast across Kansas this afternoon. The front should enter Southeast Kansas early this evening. North winds will whistle to tunes 25 to 35 mph across Central Kansas with 20 to 30 mph velocities likely across South-Central Kansas. By Tuesday morning temperatures in the northwest fourth of Kansas will have plummeted into the mid teens.
