PARTRIDGE, Kan.- Two Reno Co. residents were injured in an accident just after 7p.m. on Monday in Reno County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2003 Hyundai Sonota driven by Laura Y. Miller, 16, Arlington, was southbound on Kansas 61 2 miles south of Partridge. The driver swerved to miss an animal in the roadway. The vehicle left the roadway to the east and struck a power pole.
Miller and a passenger Arlyn Miller, 49, Arlington, were transported to Hutchinson Regional Medical Center.
The KHP reported Arlyn was not wearing a seat belt.
