MUNICH, Germany — Siemens appointed a new global chief executive for the wind and renewable business in its Power Generation Services division.
Mark Albenze takes up the role immediately and will be based in the division’s headquarters in Orlando, Fla. Albenze was chief executive of the German company’s onshore wind power business in the Americas from 2011 to 2014 and joined in 1998. He has held various positions in marketing, business development, supply management and sales in the U.S. and South America.
Albenze succeeds Tim Holt, who Siemens said is “taking over new responsibilities” within the company.
