Prairie Star Health Center’s Plans for moving out of the Trades Center and into its own facility can take a step closer to reality with Tuesdays Hutchinson City Council meeting. The council will take action on a recommendation from the City Planning Board to approve the final plat for the new facility which will be located on the northwest side of the east 30th Avenue and K-61 Highway intersection.
Prairie Star plans to build the new facility on about 5 acres of land that has largely gone undeveloped. Prairie Star has been planning the move for the past two years. After trying to find a suitable location the medical organization finally settled on the 30th Avenue property. The Hutchinson City Council meeting is set for Tuesday at 9am at the city council chambers.
