BUHLER, Kan. — Jacob Goscha, a high school junior at Buhler High School has been selected to participate in the Kansas National Guard Teen Council for the 2014-2015 year.
The Teen Council is a state level youth advisory committee executed by the Kansas National Guard Child and Youth Program in Topeka. The Teen Council is comprised of 16 teens throughout the state, and selections are based on leadership skills and volunteerism. All representatives have a parent or immediate family member serving in the Kansas National Guard.
Goscha will receive valuable leadership and life skills training through his service on the Council. He’ll also acquire over 150 hours of volunteer work.
