HUTCHINSON, Kan.— Hutchinson Police took two reports of counterfeit money being passed around the city.
Authorities say an employee of the W. Avenue A branch of the Hutchinson Credit Union reported that a person passed a fake $20 bill around 11 a.m. Monday. A few hours later an employee of the 17th and Plum Kwik Shop told police that an Hispanic female passed a counterfeit $50 at the store. It’s not known of the two incidents are related or not.
No arrests have been made.
