HUTCHINSON, Kan. — After we began looking into the circumstances and other details of the firing of three Hutchinson Police officers last winter, the Hutchinson Police Department issued a news release on the firings on Friday night.
In their release, they state that on December 9, 2013, the three officers were terminated as a result of an internal investigation. They say this led to the discovery of department policy violations including acts of dishonesty committed by the three officers terminated.
They says there are no allegations of criminal activity and no criminal activity was discovered in the investigation.
They also state that this is a confidential personnel matter and no additional details will be released.
