PARTRIDGE, Kan. — A 30-year-old Sylvia man was injured in a motorcycle accident in the county early Friday morning.
Robert Snodgrass was taken to Hutchinson Regional Medical Center with what sheriff officials described as non-life threatening injuries.
He was reportedly west bound on U.S. 50 at Riverton Road when, for unknown reasons, his motorcycle left the roadway and entered the south ditch. It then hit a fence and started on fire.
They believe alcohol was a factor in the crash which occurred just before 1 a.m. Friday morning, northeast of Partridge. Snodgrass was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol and is free on bond. He’ll make an appearance on the charge sometime next week.
