HUTCHINSON, Kan. – Police are investigating an armed robbery which occurred early Saturday morning here in Hutchinson.
At around 1:47 a.m., police were dispatched to Kwik Shop 2617 N. Main on the report of the armed robbery which had just occurred.
The suspect described as being a small in stature male standing 5-ft.8 to 5-ft 9 and weighing 130 to 140 pounds. He was reportedly wearing a ski mask, camo face mask and dark colored clothing produced a silver and black colored handgun and demanded cash from the register.
An undisclosed amount of cash was taken and the suspect fled on foot in a northwest direction carrying a dark colored bag.
Video surveillance is being reviewed and the case is under investigation.
