HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Hutchinson Alcoa plant was happy to award $15,000 from a foundation grant to the Boys & Girls Club of Hutchinson.
The money will be used to fund the STEM program for the local organization which serves about 400 children every day. The STEM program supports innovative education, training programs and curriculum’s in the areas of science, technology, engineering and math.
The grant money will be used to help fund the program in hopes of placing 550 children through the program in the next year.
