A Hutchinson woman arrested after Kansas Parole along with Hutchinson Police did a search of a adult video store and allegedly found drugs was in court Thursday morning for the formal reading of charges.
Wanda Loveless “aka” Wanda Logsdon, is now charged with possession of methamphetamine, no drug tax stamp and possession of drug paraphernalia.
She is the mother of Charles Christopher Logsdon according to police and was initially taken to jail on the violation of her parole for an armed robbery conviction in Texas. But, the local parole office was supervising her since she moved to Kansas.
The search of the “Spice It Up” video store and her nearby home led to the discovery of the drugs, however we were told it was a personal use amount, but still a large enough amount that a state drug tax stamp would be required.
In court, she stated she was worried about her business believing that the person managing it doesn’t know what they are doing. She didn’t ask for a bond reduction because of the parole hold. The state also asked that it stay the same.
You may recall that her son, Charles Christopher Logsdon was convicted of murder for the shooting death of Jennifer Heckel in June of 2011, and sentenced to roughly 73-years in prison.
