HUTCHINSON, Kan. – A 19-year-old Hutchinson man arrested Tuesday evening on some serious charges didn’t make a court appearance as of yet because neither the prosecutor nor the court had any paperwork on the arrest.
Frederick Lemens is jailed for aggravated robbery, aggravated battery, possession with intent to distribute synthetic marijuana, criminal restraint and no driver’s license. He was also advised of criminal trespass at a home in the 400 block of East 11th.
The victim, 18-year-old Jason Harden, alleges that Lemens and two other men robbed him during the altercation, but apparently Lemens was the only one arrested in association with the actual robbery.
19-year-old Majesty Wade was arrested at the residence for possession of synthetic marijuana. He is free on bond.
Lemens is jailed with a bond of $40,600. Assistant District Attorney Andrew Davidson indicated in court that Lemens would, most likely, make a first appearance Thursday morning.
Police are still investigating the incident.
