HUTCHINSON, Kan. – A 48-year-old man has been arrested again and facing nine felony counts including three counts of rape, two counts of aggravated criminal sodomy, kidnapping, aggravated battery and criminal threat.
Senior Assistant District Attorney Steve Maxwell saying this is a refiling of the complaint against Woodson Crable. He is now jailed on a $750,000 bond.
The case starts on April 9, with the Reno County Sheriff’s Officers were dispatched to the report of a disturbance in Nickerson. When they arrived, they made contact with the victim who reported that she had been battered by Crable. She says Crable forced her into the backseat of his vehicle to take her to Hutchinson. He eventually left the residence and a deputy located him where he was then taken into custody.
The victim also alleged that she has been battered and sexually assaulted by Crable at a location here in Hutchinson.
Unless he is able to post the high bond. Crable will most likely appear again Monday on the added charges.
