HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Work around the Wiley Building parking garage will cause some traffic changes over the next
couple of weeks.
According to Jim Seitnater, Downtown Development Director, weather permitting, work crews will be erecting the concrete panels that will make up the garage. This will cause several streets to be closed off while the large crane needed to install the panels is in place. The First & Walnut intersection will be closed to all north, south and west bound traffic during working hours of 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. East bound traffic will remain open. All center street parking will be part of the construction zone during this phase of the project.
Additional customer parking will be available south of First along Walnut Street.
