CHASE, Kan. – Law enforcement across the state are still on the lookout for an escaped prison from the Hutchinson Correctional Facility
43-year-old Christopher Ward allegedly walked away for a work site at Cal-Maine Industries up in Chase, Kansas, around 5:30 p.m., Saturday evening.
Ward, (shown above) stands five feet, eight inches tall, weighs 181-pounds, with blond hair and blue eyes.
Ward is serving time for aggravated burglary, burglary, theft, flee and elude and aggravated escape from custody. These convictions are from Butler and Sedgwick counties. Plus he has numerous other convictions for similar crimes.
He was due to be released from prison on May 29, 2016, but that won’t happen now. He will most likely face additional charges for this latest escape.
