HUTCHINSON, Kan.— After what Nickerson USD 309 Superintendent Bill Hagerman said was a quick, but thorough 
process, the School Board approved the hiring of its new high school principal during last night’s regular meeting.
The board voted in favor to hire Assistant Principal Rick Blosser. Blosser has been the Assistant Principal at NHS for three years, after coming to Nickerson from the Larned School District.
Blosser will replace current Principal Kevin Abbott who recently announced his resignation.
