HUTCHINSON (Kan.)–Hutchinson Community College announced its first candidate for the presidents position Sunday morning.
Ronald D. Natale, II has been Vice President of Academic Affairs at unity 
College since June 28, 2010. He has also served as Acting President, Interim President and Vice President & Provost. Prior to Glendale Community College, Dr. Natale served as President of Central Georgia Technical College. He also has extensive experience as an administrator and faculty in the community colleges of Florida. He has also worked for Teledyne Economic Development Corporation as an instructor and administrator in the Job Corps System.
His experience includes several years as a manager, consultant and trainer for the Tandy Corp. Dr. Natale holds a Doctor of Education in Higher Education Administration from the University of Florida in Gainesville. He also has a M.Ed. in Leadership from the University of North Florida and a B. A. in Social and Behavioral Sciences from the University of South Florida.
After Serving in the U.S. Navy he began his college experience at St. Petersburg Junior College.Natale has made presentations at The Higher Learning Commission Annual Conference of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools, the Conference on Information Technology, the League for Innovation in Community College, Adult Literacy and Technology Conference, the Conference on Adult Basic Education and several others on such topics as Technology in the classroom, workforce preparation, academic & student affairs, and adult literacy.
Dr. Natale resides in Glendale AZ, with his wife Jessica and their three sons; Andrew, 12; Alex, 9; and Nicholas, 6. In his free time, he enjoys golf, bicycling, Gator college sports and visiting museums and fairs with his wife and children. Natale will spend the day interviewing and meeting HCC Staff on Monday.
