The Reno County Commission on Tuesday will consider SCS Aquatera’s Engineering and Planning Services proposal for the Reno County Landfill at a possible cost to the county of 38-thousand dollars.
The commission will also hear a report on the financial model summary and consideration of increasing solid waste fee assessments for the landfill as well as a resolution for providing for a schedule of rates and charges in connection with waste tire disposal at the landfill.
The Reno County landfill also serves Harvey, Kingman, McPherson, Rice, and Stafford counties.
The commission will also get an update from County Appraiser Mike Brooks, retiring Emergency Management Director Bill Guy and County Planner Mark Vonachen.
The meeting starts at 9 a-m, at the Reno County Courthouse.
